Portal do Inventário Florístico Florestal do Estado de Santa Catarina

Formed by the "Portal of the State Forestry Floristic Inventory of Santa Catarina and the visualization system maps SIGEO is an informational tool support and integration with the goal of providing quality content, briefing papers on various topics related to the Project Inventory floristic-Florestal de Santa Catarina (IFFSC) to the academic community, researcher and society in general.

The portal allows the entry of data collected during development of the work of inventory and therefore the output to information of forest remnants, herbaria, genotyping and socioeconomics clearly and interactively to support forest management decisions in the areas of Santa Catarina, opening a channel communication between civil society, government and academia.

SIGEO System is a Web application developed with the aim to organize and integrate information in a systematic way biophysical and socio-economic monitoring and evaluation; spatialize information at different levels of representation: hydrographic units, cities, regions, and also support the planning suitable territories, taking into account the potential and limitations of environmental resources.
